Óbidos / Fátima / Nazaré
Óbidos is a small village full of history and charm, with its characteristic houses inside the walls, very white and well maintained. In this village you go back in time. Here you can find old churches and shops with all kinds of regional products. Here you can taste the true well-known “Ginginha de Óbidos”.
Fatima is where the Portuguese pay their promises when they ask for a miracle. And, from the number of people you see praying in this sanctuary, we believe miracles really exist.
Especially in the month of May, we can see many people going to Fatima some walking and even some on their knees. This is a unique place you can not miss.
Nazaré is a recently discovered secret, 2011, by a Hawaiian surfer named McNamara. This is where, on some occasions of the year, great waves are formed and surfers try to establish new records. These waves are about 30 meters high.
This is also a fishing village with wonderful landscape.
